Thise little Antonovs with the high mount engines would do a lot of work for us in Afghanistan.
Only jet ive ever seen land on a dirt/gravel runway.

Seen one of the two Antonovs takeoff quite consistently, the one in the picture has been grounded for a few weeks by now
The sound it makes is incredibly loud aswell, you can't miss it 😂
