DDR5 or no?

OK, I have a pretty crappy prebuilt PC it has 32 gigs of DDR4, and a one terabyte SSD— is it worth staying on the AM4 platform because of ram prices, I do not have an external GPU I literally bought the cheapest option on Cybertron gaming PCs at the time. Please help me.

Personally, I wouldn't switch just for better ram until your next pc.

So.. buy external GPU for now ..? And upgrade your CPU.
Legitimate_Payment49@reddit
you mean dGPU (discrete GPU)? external GPU can mean external enclosure for a dGPU.

I think he mean he only have iGPU. So I thought he probably mean he want to buy new gpu up to date. Which is either 5060 TI / 9060 XT. Then up his CPU to 5700x3D at least.

All depends on how much you want to spend
Videnskabsmanden@reddit
Why would you upgrade your entire platform instead of just getting a GPU?
Correx96@reddit
Yeah staying on AM4 is fine. CPU to something like 5600X/5700X or 5700X3D if you can find it at good price. Slap a GPU there based on your budget but be careful that it fits the case. And you're good to go for a few more years

List your specs, otherwise this post is completely pointless.
