Need advice for upgrading

Hello my current specs are as follows:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7700
Ram: 16gb 4800mhz
GPU: RTX 4060ti 8gb
PSU: 600Watt
I prefer gaming in 1440 and while this set up does decent enough I cant run things like ray tracing without massive fps losses and cant use the highest settings in some games. For example with cyberpunk when turning on ray tracing medium I take a big fps hit even with dlss and frame gen on. My friend told me that the 4060 was mostly meant for 1080 gaming.
My idea for upgrading currently is:
GPU: RTX 5070ti 16gb
Ram: 32gb DDR5 6000mhz
PSU: 1050watt
Ive never upgraded a PC before and was wondering if this would be a good solid upgrade or if it's overkill.
Thank you!

yeah gpu holding you back, expensive right now. 9070xt if wanting not to spend premium of 5070ti, well, here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKzlrOwONqk - 5070 ti can be overclocked to 5080 performance, and 9070xt can be undervolted to increase performance
consult spl psu tier list, i think you may be considering century ii by that wattage? a 750w is plenty if you undervolt, may want 850w for an overclock though.
ram... is it hynix or samsung? could put it to 6000, but if its capacity you need then another dimm with matching ics

V-COLOR Manta XSky DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 SK Hynix. Found it on Newegg.

good kit, if you have no tax on siliconpower and don't mind no rgb then one of theirs is a little cheaper.
selection of psus, dunno your case for clearances or color
good models of either gpu that aren't too much more than bottom barrel ones (nvidia msi low quality and no ptm7950, asrock amd lower quality higher chance coil whine and say use ptm but some customers say that is lie?)
parametrics with suggested parts

Ive never had a AMD gpu. Do they offer ray tracing? Do they have their own form of frame gen/DLSS? I see the 9070XT is less than the 5070ti but is it comparable?

The main concern is the GPU. Increasing it up to the level of 5070 Ti makes sense with respect to RT on 1440p. Upgrading the RAM to 32GB 6000 is very good. 1050 watts is an overkill, rather go for a solid power supply between 750 and 850 watts.

Only thing that's overkill is the 1050w. 750 or 850w is more than enough. Also good luck trying to find the 5070ti it's practically discontinued maybe if you find used. But if new i recommend the 9070xt or 5080

Thank you for the reply! Does the 9070xt offer ray tracing as well?
