Can somebody help me with some questions?

Hi everyone, I got my driving licence a while ago and although I’ve never been into cars now I’m starting to want to learn some things and I was hoping that somebody could solve some of my questions.
I have a hyundai i20 klass with 100cv and I’ve been wanting to learn how to launch it and do some basic drifting (I’m aware that I’m vert limited here). What I heard about the launching is that you gotta rev it to the point where your tires are at the limit of their traction and then let go the clutch quite fast, but not dumping it or lifting it too slow because either way you burn it. Same more or less with a clutch kick for drifting.
My questions were basically these: is all i’ve said right? how bad is this for the car even if you do it right? Is dumping the clutch really that bad (because i’ve seen it in a lot of launching tutorials)? Can my car even drift a little? Is it better to drift with the handbrake?

Drifting a front wheel drive car has nothing to do with the clutch.... Drifting is about a controlled loss of traction from the rear wheels, not the front so...
You would "drift" the car with the handbrake. Tape down the parking brake release button and pull up on the handbrake as you corner to break the tires loose. If the car swings too fast and far, let off the brake...which is why you tape the release button down. It also helps to pump the rear tires to 40 psi (2.8 Bar) so they slide easier.
If you are going to try this, find an empty, wide open parking lot so you can't hit anything. Expect the police to show up so don't do it for long.
If you do this on the street expect to seriously damage your car's tire, wheel, suspension and possibly roll the car or kill a pedestrian.

No, your car cannot drift.
