Help me decide over CPU's

AMD Ryzen 7 7700 OR 7 7800X3D, I heard both are good but the 7 7800X3D is alot better, I wanna be able to run some intensive games easily, or minecraft with tons of shaders, can i settle for the 7 7700 and it wont cause any problems? Or I should get the 7 7800X3D to be sure? The price diffrence it quite large and im in the philippines

7800X3D is faster than 7 7700 by 0.24 %! This perhaps takes into account higher L3 cache or advantage of 3D cache etc.
7 7700 is a 65W TDP CPU while 7800X3D is a 120W TDP CPU (it impacts your electricity bill more).
These are the only key difference I found between them (leaving aside the price).
Besides, both have total 28 PCIe lanes (which is great!).
Assuming neither would bottleneck your existing GPU, you should now have some good data to decide which CPU to buy.

What is this AI trash response? It's 10-15% faster on average.

7800X3D gives a benchmark score of 34,284 whereas 7 7700 gives a benchmark score of 34,366. The source for these data is https://www.passmark.com/.
What is the basis of your claim?
Tinney3@reddit
Your basis is a synthetic benchmark summary site which 100% doesn't utilize the larger L3 cache which is practically what you're buying an X3D CPU for.
Such a meme you were proud that it was just a tiny bit better when an X3D CPU would absolutely roll on any CPU with a significantly lower cache on anything that ACTUALLY uses cache.
Source : I upgraded from a 5600x -> 5800X3D, my .1% lows tripled, 1% doubled and max fps went up by at least 30% on WoW which actually uses cache.

Alright. Here is a standardized CPU benchmark site that uses 3DMark to test CPU performance in gaming. According to this site, https://benchmarks.ul.com/3dmark,
7800X3D has a score of 7911, whereas 7 7700 has a score of 8414.

Synthetic benchmarks do not reflect real world gaming performance.
These are the basis of my claim:

Get the 7700 and use the cash saves on a better GPU to hit your stated goals.
Even with the same GPU, I don't think you will hit a wall that is entirely CPU related. I would personally go with the 7700 as well for the lower energy usage and less heat generated (rather important in hot+humid environments).

It depends on your monitor resolution. If your at 1080p 7800x3d. 1440p or 4k 7700 CPU.

What kind of framerates are you targeting?
Zeron-MK7@reddit
X3D cpu are always better for gaming.

So I should get it?

7800X3D.
