With discount pricing this works out to $17 a box. You can get 147 grn from Parapet Components for slightly less cost per round(Use coupon code IDPA10). I find the ammo from Parapet is CLEANER than Syntech, and has less FPS deviation too.

Before anyone asks, I compared them firing out of a Glock 45 across an Athlon Rangecraft Chronograph. I didn't take notes on standard deviation, but I will next time. Is there any other 9mm Subsonic or Match Ammo everyone would want compared while I'm at it?

I've looked at their Whiskey loads - and the price seems good. My only thing is that there doesn't seem to be much online presence for their ammo (reviews, mentions, etc.) or their company, there is no direct phone line to their business, and when I sent them an email several months ago asking when the whiskey 147s were going to be off back-order I got no response.

Why spend $ on what essentially is reloads when there are factory options out there?

I'm not saying I wouldn't give them a shot (heh) but without knowing when my order would actually ship out it's hard to spend the $

They are not "essentially reloads", I can certainly understand the perspective though. They have several government contracts for ammo. He can chime in with more info. With my handful of orders, I've never had one that did not ship out the very next business day, if that helps.

The easiest way is to join an organization that has access, like the American Suppressor Association. I originally joined as an ultra runner, you just send your bib number and race directors info and they verify you completed an utra marathon. I also get access to some additional things as a cub master, and one other association. You just have to look through the different programs and see what you might be eligible for. Not all brands give access to various members either....

Yes they do. Much more common than kabooms too.

At least with squibs you have a chance to clear it, or not blow it up.

To blow up a gun with a squib you have to manually cycle your slide and fire another round. If you do that without checking why the malfunction occurred, than it's partly your fault.

While I agree this is farthest from a deal for the syntech I would not sleep on a deal for them if you can get them cheaper. 150gr hits a sweet spot for suppressor performance and syntech is super clean to run in my experience vs Hush. I’m glad I bought bulk of them awhile back when they were $18.99 a box.

I stocked up on 150 syntech when it was around 30 cents a round. I also love it but just can’t justify the price when you can get 147 lawman cheaper. This will be my first go around with the 165 hush I am excited to try it. I have never had issues with the lawman being dirty I hope the hush is about the same

I’d heard/read awhile back that getting at or past 160gr 9mm you get into diminishing returns. Like yes it’s going to be quieter since it’s heavier and slower, but will your human ear even notice unless you’re focused in on it?.

I was hoping that the difference wasn't going to be big, so that I'd never consider paying that much of a premium but...nah. I get it. This shit's sweet. I can't bring myself to do it at these prices, but these rounds do earn that premium price tag.

Haven't bought this in awhile, do half the rounds still have misaligned projectiles that the case scraped half-the coating off of onto the side so you can't chamber the fucking things and gunks up your cans in record time? I was scraping this weak-grip polycoat off my baffles for days. And people say not to run blazer though a can - this shit throws a ring of red at close range without my suppressor on - I don't see how that's any better getting caked in red plastic inside my can.
