Do you actually have DR for cloud config?

In theory, sure, “it’s all in Terraform.” but not really everyhing.....
Do you include SaaS stuff like Okta/Datadog/Cloudflare/GitHub?
Maybe this is obvious to everyone else, but I’ve been thinking about it lately.

Most teams have DR for infrastructure but quietly have no recovery plan for SaaS config and "it's all in Terraform" usually means 70% of it is.

AWS/GCP/Azure are one thing, that's easy with state file on TF, about Okta - we use rubrik. it is okish. We’ve been looking at something called controlmonkey for all the rest

Converting as much as possible to Terraform is probably the way long term. we are small team, so our approach is pretty simple: codify what we can, back things up every month or so, and keep the config/state files. It’s not fancy, but it works well enough for us right now

Yeah we do, but based on your username, I bet you're about to try and sell us ControlMonkey aren't you
