ULPT request: I hate my job and want to submit a WFH exception

Like the title says I hate my job and want to find a way to have a work from home exception as the company rolls out return to work requirements.
The entire team, including my direct report, except the client and my direct boss, is in another city. My client is quite terrible to work with. I will make accommodations to see them in person as needed though and I think that makes things tricky.
Going in office for the company I work for often times ends up me being in a meeting room alone the majority of the day or in a sound proof pod to avoid disruption. Not to mention they don’t have room in office for the team members on another account, let alone ours. (to the level of reserving desks ahead of time)
That being said, how do I build a case to WFH? I have personal stuff I could bring in but I don’t want to base in on emotion, having ADHD, or being a care taker for a family member I live with unless I can use that to my advantage.

I had migraines (resolved after sinus surgery). My ENT doctor wrote me a letter of medical necessity to work away from perfumes, cologne, and other heavy scents. Because they trigger migraines. It’s not reasonable to expect coworkers to all switch to unscented laundry detergent, for example. In my case, I was given a private office in a different building than my department, which was empty. If there’s no on-site segregated room, the next choice would be wfh. If you’re in the US, submit a request for ADA accommodation, with a doctor’s letter.

Get a diagnosis for ulcerative colitis. Worked for my colleague! Nothing says I need to work from home more than explosive chronic diarrhea.

also works for Crohn’s disease. Once you explain the illness they don’t even want you there in person. But if you are to sick they might not employ you at all. Also I have no idea how one would get such a diagnosis without having it.

Give ChatGPT the parameters of your job and then they will start building a reason for you.

Very easy pretend to have mental health issues. Panic disorder, social anxiety etc use ChatGPT to help u make up symptoms, then ur doctor can fill out a workplace accommodation. It’s a law pretty much in every state and Canada

What state do you live in?
