Dunno if it’s just me, but sometimes I see a perfect photo/picture and an exhilarated by leaving my phone alone and just enjoying the view. Love and peace friends.

Snapping a photo has never become a reflex like that for me. I've just never become conditioned that way, thankfully.

I wish I had taken more photos of me and my friends back in the day, my mom that passed away when I was younger, my pets I had, places I went. I take pictures and video now, not like I walk around with my phone out, but if I think “oh this is a nice moment to remember” then I absolutely take the picture.

I hardly ever take my phone anywhere. We (me and my husband) don't have social media besides reddit so I never think about taking pictures.

The one thing I feel blessed about growing up as gen x is we didn’t grow up with computers (no internet) and social media.
So Im not much one for photos… If anything my phone is filled with my pooch pics but outside of that I don’t need a pictures or videos to capture every moment of my life that I won’t look at later on.
There are times I’ll forget my phone and I couldn’t care less who’s trying to reach me. My retirement plan is to retire in a foreign country on the beach, watching the sunset every evening and Im allowed to disconnect from my phone as much as possible.

Yes. Absolutely. Being present and experiencing life without feeling compelled to take a photo of the moment demonstrates clarity and inner calm. Peace and love to you too. 🤲🏻

Most views last long enough for both views to be valid. Memories don't last, as we probably all know. Take photos to help yours.
