How Can I Find a Cowboy to Marry ?
Posted by TestSimilar6032@reddit | AskAnAmerican | View on Reddit | 26 comments
I’m in love with American men who work on ranches, I daydream about hard working men in flannel shirts
How will I get one to fall in love with me?
In my mid 20s and live on the other side of the world
(A little bit of a joke, but seriously do send any strong men who work on cattle ranches my way)

All I can say is…don’t marry a cowboy because he’s a cowboy and later find that you don’t actually like him beyond his image. He could be a cowboy and a terrible person…People can hide who they are for a long time and sometimes they show you but you choose not to see it because you see what you want to see.
If you find a good man and he is always a cowboy? Thats great. But if your choices are a cowboy who maybe doesn’t have the best character and a non-cowboy who has good character and treats you right? Choose the one who is a good man that does right by you.

Idk if you have plenty of ranches qhere you live. But it sounds like you are thebone qho has to move to the US.
And if you haven't noticed, it is pretty bad timing for that atm... 😅

The worst timing it seems, got a few years to wait though

If you are a gay man or woman, then you’re in luck. There’s a nice subset of gay culture that loves western dress, with the advantage that they mostly smell pretty good.
If you’re a straight woman looking for an actual cowboy, you should remember that it’s a blue-collar job and all the benefits and hazards of that tend to apply. Probably the worst part is that most of the injuries won’t be covered by any form of long-term insurance other than state disability.

Vacation in a small town in Montana?
Hang out at rodeos and spend time near the barns?
Work a cowboy adjacent job - become a traveling equipment supplier, sell cowboy hats and boots, be a trauma or heli nurse in a small town hospital, work for a meat processor, large animal vet.

Well step 1 is stop being on the other side of the planet. Cowboys aren't known for their jet-setting ways.

Hate to tell ya this but they’re a rare breed nowadays. A lot of agriculture here is big business.

Amazon has a good selection of mechanical tools that would replace a cowboy until you get here.

Hey a girl can dream … don’t act like you don’t want your man coming home with a bit of dirt on him 💁♀️
OpeningChipmunk1700@reddit
I am an admittedly a non-cowboy straight guy, so I defer to you on what you want your man covered in when he comes home.
