9070 XT vs 5060 TI 16GB vs 5070

I thought of going to make a gaming PC that will destroy games at 1080p no matter what. So, I thought of going with the 5060 TI 16 GB Version. But the prices b/w the 9070 XT vs 5060 TI 16GB vs 5070 are SOO CLOSE, and how powerful is the 9070XT compared to 5060 TI and 5070.
Here are the prices.
5060 TI (16 GB) - 600 Dollars
5070 (12 GB) - 670 Dollars
9070 XT (16 GB) - 680 Dollars
5070 TI (16 GB) - 1000 Dollars
Ok, so I will be mainly gaming, recording, streaming. I will be editing videos and editing thumbnails. I will be *trying* AI tasks like image and video generation. I am coming from an RTX 2060.
Like I always prefer high FPS, like If I am going for a 1080p GAMING PC, I want to run it at max settings at 100 + FPS with no Ray Tracing or DLSS/FSR or at minimum DLSS/FSR Quality. (Exclude unoptimized games).
But after seeing the price difference, I want to go with 9070 XT for 1440p Gaming. Will it be able to handle 1440p at max settings with no Ray Tracing or DLSS/FSR or at minimum DLSS/FSR Quality. (Exclude unoptimized games).
In general, I am confused.
Also, for the type of games I play, I play everything. Yes, I play everything, everything, you can imagine I play it. From the most popular to the unknown Indie games.
Thanks for reading, I will reply to as max comments.

9070 xt is awful for video generation and in many ai tasks the 3060 could even be better.
However in terms of gaming/streaming price to perf it is amazing here so it is probably the best option assuming the AI stuff is just for a little fun.
If you are more serious about the AI stuff then maybe splurge for the 5070 ti or go with the 5060 ti. Used 3090 also be good

Thanks for the reply. Like I will be generating pictures, local LLMS, like trying, not so too much, like, when I am editing and need a picture I will generate type tasks. I even tried with my 2060, and it generates in 2-3 minutes. Hopefully it will be faster and generate in 10-20 Secs. Like I want to try AI tasks, not really get too much into it. Mostly help in small tasks.
Anyways, I will go for the 9070 XT. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint me too much in productivity tasks. Can you tell what level of AI tasks is equivalent for the NVIDIA GPU? Like If 9070 XT is at 100 Level, and 5070Ti is 200. What NVIDIA GPU will be at 100 level.

I have a 9070xt and it's definitely the best out of these for gaming due to the vram and performance. For AI, more vram is ofc nicer but obviously the nvidia cards have CUDA. I can't give you a comparison of the experiences but I can give rough numbers of whay to expect.
Amd does now support rocm on windows now which helps alot. I haven't used ai for anything other than tinkering but I can give reference numbers. For comfyui, the SDXL refiner template at 1024×1024 finishes in about 10-15 seconds and the z-image turbo template at 1920×1088 finishes in about 1-2 minutes depending on the prompt. For kobold using vulkan without any optimisations for gemma 3 12b q6k gives around 40 tokens/second.

Get 5070ti you won’t regret

I would go with the 5070 TI, but is 300 dollars more expensive. Hopefully 9070 XT, doesn't disappoint me too much in productivity tasks, as I will be doing editing, streaming, and rarely AI related tasks.

I have 9070xt xfx mercury , never had problems, but 80% of Reddit users have issues with this card , so it’s risky

For AI i'd buy a 5070
9070 XT is just better for gaming
Tunagoblin@reddit
It’s kind of stupid not to get 9070xt in those price range.

Thanks for the reply, I will go for the 9070 XT. Yes, it is more worth it. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint me too much in productivity tasks, as I will be doing editing, streaming, and rarely AI related tasks.

I have 9070xt and I do video editing (using Davinci as a hobby) no problem with it. Unless you are a professional, you should be just fine. I don’t use local AI so I can’t answer that part.

nvidia for AI obviously as it support pytorch / tensorFlow, stable Diffusion , comfyUI, LLMs (Llama, Mistral, etc.) out of the box. CUDA dominates in AI but you probably need 16GB vram

5070ti = 9070xt > 5070 > 5060ti
If you want max 1080p, I'd look at a 9060xt 16gb
If you want max 1440p, I'd get the 9070xt
Personally I can't justify spending that much more for a 5070ti.
I got the 9060xt recently and I'm very happy with it.

any, as long as it's not 5060 ti

5060 Ti not bad, but not on this price. I bought 9060 xt 16 gb on top vendor (xfx Mercury) for 440$, very similar performance to 5060 ti but better work culture, quiet and cold. I think that cards of this segment are not worth more

All of these GPUs are better suited to 1440p, and are overkill for 1080p. Going to 27" 1440p IPS high refresh is very cheap these days (<$175 /£120) and is a MASSIVE upgrade over 1080p

I have a 9070xt and honestly, its optimization is quite poor, or even the games I play aren't optimized for it (muting waves and where wind meets). Apart from those two games, all the others are very easy to play with max settings.
Numerous-Lecture-431@reddit (OP)
Like how bad it. If you were to lower the settings, can you get 100 + FPS on 1440p. Also how is the AI performance.
Like as said, can the 9070 XT do 1440p at max settings with no Ray Tracing or DLSS/FSR or at minimum DLSS/FSR Quality. (Exclude unoptimized games like where winds meet, muting waves).
I will be generating pictures, local LLMS, like trying, not so too much, like, when I am editing and need a picture, I will generate type tasks. As for other games, currently the games I'm playing are fine.
nguyenbao64@reddit
You can easily play them at 1xx-2xx fps at max settings 1080p, provided you turn off FSR, frame rate generation, and ray tracing. But things get worse when using fsrz frame rate or RT; regardless of the graphics settings, it lags a lot and experiences stuttering and image cuts. This is an optimization issue, not a performance one.
