Won a handgun on gun broker and waited awhile for the seller to add a shipping price, ended up being overnight shipping costing $107.13, I didn’t even choose that method. Is that too much?

Are you saying THEY chose overnight shipping without asking you?? Whereas overnight shipping costs a lot. If you didn request it, tell them to piss off. IMHO

UPS rules require Next Day Air shipping on handguns. But $107 seems excessive.

Yeah practically, it’s they’re first time selling a firearm online and they said they would go to the gun store and asked for cheaper shipping options.

Tell them to use ShipMyGun. $100 for shipping a handgun is obscene. The FFL I use to ship charges $40 for shipping a handgun.

Here it is possible problem they are not shipping themselves. They’re having the LGS ship for them. So one the lgs is taking a cut and second many lgs will only ship overnight or 2 day instead of ground.

Dont know why they would specifically choose the most expensive shipping, usually people ship 2 day air which is much cheaper than true overnight.
It should not be more than $60. My last handgun that I got on my C&R FFL was shipping USPS Ground and cost the seller $10....
