UPT Mesa questions

Hello! I am an international student, and in a few months I will begin my initial flight training in Mesa. Over about four and a half months, I need to complete my PPL, IFR, and multi-engine training.
I understand that the schedule is six days per week, but I’m not sure which exact days. I am a religious person (Seventh-day Adventist), and my beliefs require me to keep Saturdays free.
Does anyone know which days training usually takes place? If training is scheduled on Saturdays, would there be any possibility of accommodation? I would also appreciate any advice on how to prepare.
Stay healthy, and thank you in advance! 🙂

Query slight vague…
UPT as in Undergrad Pilot Training? Military or Civilian?
Mesa… Mesa Arizona? Or is that the name of the flight training operation? Maybe provide better detail here.
4.5 months to go from zero hours to PPL, Instrument Airplane, and Multi-engine add on is a significant ask. What happens to you if you’re unable to meet that timeline or need longer to gain required proficiency? Is the training operation already set up with Pilot examiners to make this tight timeline work?
Until we know the exact name/location of the training operator, we cannot comment on the curriculum, training, or schedule.
Accommodation…. Are you asking about where to live while training? Again, we need better info to speak to this.
As an international student, what our friend u/raisetheded has to say on the subject might be of interest.

The program is military, but the initial training will take place in Mesa (CAE Phoenix Aviation Academy). After we complete that phase there, we will move on to the T-6. We will be training alongside USAF pilots.
I’m not entirely sure what responsibility the academy has regarding the timelines, but I assume that if I am not able to keep up, I would simply be removed from the course.
As for accommodation, we will be living outside the training base and commuting to it.

You will need to ask your military leaders this question. For USAF, there is no religious accommodation for training days. Once you get to UPT, you will absolutely be flying on Saturdays (some of them).

The student squadron at your UPT base should have an international affairs officer (or something like that) to answer your questions
