Backup strategy, where do I start?

Hi all,
Could you please help me out?
I run a small law firm. I deal with confidential client files every day, and I’m starting to realize we’ve probably not given our backup strategies enough thought. Lately i've been investigating more and more, but to be fair with you I'm not sure where to start.
Right now I often search on ChatGPT for things like “best backup strategy for law firms.” Is this a good approach, or is there a better way? What do you usually search for when looking for a backup solution? And what are the key requirements for you?
All tips are welcome.

Find an IT Pro or firm to manage your backups with commercially supported platforms and expert staff to monitor and support your offsite data security. If you are determined to manage it yourself then license a solution like WholesaleBackup paired with cloud storage like Wasabi/B2/C2. Either option is well worth the cost vs. losing everything.

Law firm IT guy here. You hire an MSP and stop trying to do it yourself.

This. OP is trying to fix a IT problem by himself when it’s something he needs to hire someone to do
