Cleaning E-bike

I might have got a lil carried away in the mud 😂🤫😎 what is the best way to clean all the mud off ? I’m not really trying to have to take off the fenders

That’s much more an e-moto than an e-bike. I’d check with other subreddits that have more experience with it.

Mine looked like that 2 weeks ago. I just used a garden hose to clean it and avoided spraying the batteries directly. I'm not sure if they should be removed, but easy enough to do.

How about the controller and motor? Most motors are fairly well sealed, but you never know. And controllers are placed in various places, some of which are not waterproof.

Nah they hold on pretty good, I'm always using the garden hose as well and never had any issues

Our ebikes have small holes in the compartment where the controller is mounted. I would be afraid of spraying that area.

Compared to what our dirt bikes look like after mud riding, yours is 'spotless'. Did you get any mud on you? We often end up with so much mud on us we have to strip to our boxers before entering the house.
On electrics you can't spray em, so you're gonna have to do it the hard way...The bucket and brushes and rags. Be careful not to get any water in electrical areas.
