90⁰ back ins

Will be going for my road test soon and will have to do a 90⁰ back up at the end to pass. Im having a hell of a time getting it right. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'll be doing the test with a day cab and 48' trailer

I drove for 23 years and I can tell you that if you watch the trailer tires instead of the ass you can put that damn thing anywhere......

Trailer pivots on the wheels, won’t matter where you have the tandems at, trailer pivots at the wheels.

Specifically, it’s the center of the space between the two tires. Unless, the tag axle is raised. Then, it’s the center of the tire that is in contact with the ground.

This works for all vehicle types, too. The rear wheels are your pivot points. Not sure why more places don't teach it like that.
