Gabrielle kind of sucked as a bard. 😂
Agent8699@reddit
She single-handedly convinced the entire known world that Xena, a woman who had slaughtered tens if not hundreds of thousands of innocent people, was a hero! I mean … Gabrielle did all right.
Her scrolls were published and read across a lot of the known world.
Sure, she lost her “talking” skills as she matured and relied more and more on her sais, but she was still a pretty good bard.

That's like asking what's your favorite currency, a penny or a brick of pure gold?

Who is Virgil?
egabald@reddit
Joxer the Mighty
roams through the countryside,
he never needs a place to hide.
With Gabby as his sidekick,
fighting with her little stick.
Righting wrongs and singing songs.
Being mighty all day long.
He's Joxer! He's Joxer the Mighty!

That is not a real question. Like who is going to pick Virgil? A better comparison would've been any of the other guys she went to that bard school with. But Virgil????
invisiblebyday@reddit
Hey Virgil, did your bard skills rescue you from a Cyclops and stall Titans? Hmmph, I didn't think so.

Would you rather walk barefoot in the sand or step in dogshit?

lmaoooooo
Meushell@reddit
He ain’t that bad! 😂
Fuzzy_Ability8284@reddit
Okay, maybe dogshit could've been swapped for something less harsh like mud or something sticky instead. It's still a crying baby vs nuclear warhead kind of match-up though.
Meushell@reddit
Mud fits. To me, he’s more…blah. I forget that he’s even a bard! 😆

OP: "Who's your fav..." Community: "Ooo Gabrielle!"

Akemi! 😆
Otherwise, probably Virgil given that I can still find and read his works. I haven’t been able to find many collected editions of the Xena scrolls. I’m not even sure anyone has bothered to collect and transcribe them, probably because of their poor quality? 📜

Gabrielle

Euripides
A.K.A. “An appellation does not illuminate the foreboding mysteries of one’s etheral essence.”
Dude spoke pure poetry, was fun, and he was kind.
(I’m not even counting Gabrielle in this question.)
Overall_Sandwich_671@reddit
Obviously Virgil because he was in loads more episodes than Gabrielle and used his bard skills many many times throughout the entirety of the series.
