I work in a place with people from all over the world. Nigerian food has been amazing from the families that home cook for us and bring to work. My best texan explanation is Spain flavors with mexican heat and throw in community style dishes.

I've had that experience on multiple occasions and it has always been fine. In fact, I often have had exceptional service and made to feel very welcome.
