Firearm part identification?

Anyone have any idea what this goes to. There was a spring in the small bottom end. Spring fell out and couldn't be found.
Found at a public range. 90% sure it doesn't go to any of my guns. But just to make sure. Does anyone know what it goes to?

Foot from a bipod?
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
Too small for that
NoOnesSaint@reddit
Top of a cleaning rod?
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
Nah. Don't think that would have a spring in it
Plane-End8656@reddit
Nah… that’s the choke on your tractor lol
TacTurtle@reddit
Is there a Cessna flying around overhead with his carb heat stuck on?
Plane-End8656@reddit
Lol

Not that big. It's smaller than a dime on the big side
number__ten@reddit
Might be a button for a magazine.
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
I don't think those are usually buttons?
number__ten@reddit
I'm not sure what you'd call it. You pull it down to put tension on the spring and make the mag easier to load. It's a round button like thing that goes the whole way through. They're pretty easy to pop out if you pull it all the way to the bottom and pull it out that circular hole.
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
Yea I get what you mean. But I don't think those are very button-y. More like just a cross bar
number__ten@reddit
Maybe it's part of a shitty bolt on like a compensator or something.
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
Nah. It's definitely a button of some sort because there was a spring in the small hole
number__ten@reddit
Hmm. Kinda reminds me of the gas tube shut off for the yugo sks with the rifle grenade launcher. They kinda look like that.
Inevitable-Sleep-907@reddit
Can confirm it's not from a Glock or AR
ILikeScrapple@reddit
Charging handle maybe
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
Awfully small for that. Pictures might make it seem bigger than it is
Inevitable-Sleep-907@reddit
Should've put a banana next to it for scale

Are you positive its from a firearm? I found a random piece very similar to that and it turned out to be a piece of the mechanism (the sissor metal frame undercarriage) of one of my recliners. Stopped you from putting the legs down unless the seatback was in the full upright position.
Unlikely, but throwing it out there!
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
Idk. I just found it on the table at a range.
Don't know why it wouldn't be gun related at a public range
BDGibson4@reddit
Ope, overlooked the found it at the range part. Please disregard!

wahirsch@reddit
It's almost similar in style to a keltec sub 2000 charging handle, but it isn't one of those.
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
It's not that big but I know what you're talking about
Troy_stoic@reddit
Not something on a handgun, ak or ar15. Possibly a bolt release on a semi auto shotgun. But im not 100% sure.
Due-Development-7211@reddit (OP)
Definitely looks like a button of some sort
A bolt release on a semi auto shotgun maybe
I had 2 handguns, a vector and RPK and I'm 90% sure it doesn't belong on any of them
Troy_stoic@reddit
I don’t believe a kriss vector has that part. It could be from a cheap turkish semi auto shotgun bolt knob
