London School of Business - how do I report & get my refund living on the other side of the world?

The above link is their website with the color red logo.
I realized I made a mistake after verifying the details:
• False Affiliations: While LSB claims an MBA partnership with the University of Sunderland, I contacted the University directly, and they denied any affiliation with LSB.
• Unverified Partnerships: Four other organizations listed as "affiliates" on the LSB website also confirmed they have no partnership with this school.
• Communication Breakdown: Since raising these concerns, LSB has dropped my calls and ignored three formal refund requests.
I have paid them 2,500 pounds as an initial payment and no word from them at all. I live on the opposite side of the world.
This is my hard earned money and good thing I didn’t pay the rest.
I kindly need the help on my refund. 🙏🏽

London School of Businesses real address is london.edu
Whatever site that is is a fraudulent one trying to trick unsuspecting victims into paying for degrees they will not get.

I thought there is another school by that name. I know LBS too & they are expensive for me.

Looks like you learned your first lesson in business

Agreed 👍🏽

I think... you need to claim cashback via your card or report this fraud to your bank.
This "London School of Business" has only been incorporated since 21st of April and has a 28 year old Harsh Makhjia as their director. It has ASIC accreditation which, on surveying ASIC's website seem to be a network of entirely fictitious institutions.
I think you've been scammed lad/ladette.

Thanks this is helpful. I should’ve done Reddit to begin with. An expensive lesson learned here.

For future reference, ALL universities in the UK have domains that end on .ac.uk. And only properly accredited institutions can get it.
If it doesn’t end on those letters, it’s 100% a scam.
MrKiplingIsMid@reddit
Just to say that while that's a generally good rule of thumb, there are exceptions that prove the rule - London Business School uses a .edu domain and BPP University uses a .com domain.
Just-Standard-992@reddit
My bad, I didn’t know about those two institutions. Thanks for pointing this out. And great resource suggestion for OP to check they are legitimate HE providers.

No. Not Reddit. You should have carried out basic checks on where you spend money.
What were you trying to achieve with an MBA from a fake university?

Found the real-life West Coast Commission on Non-Accredited Schools #iykyk

What’s this a sub Reddit?
MJLDat@reddit
I fear you may have been looking for the London Business School, a legit institution with a .edu site.
The site you put up contains profiles of people whose LinkedIn pages do not mention the school.
I would advise you post this in r/legaladviceUK where people will be very helpful.
Good luck, hope you get your money back.

Or possibly for the extremely prestigious London School of Economics.
super_sammie@reddit
Let’s be real, this is not LSE material if they can’t tell the difference between an actual university and a scam site.
Consistent_List9414@reddit (OP)
They won’t let me post, I’m not from the UK.
loranlily@reddit
You need to put England. They ask because the law can vary between England/Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland.
super_sammie@reddit
What was your end goal? That site screams scam
>Money from the Government for UK and EU Students are fully eligible for the UK Government’s student loan support package if they fulfil the appropriate criteria. This package includes loans for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, helping to cover tuition fees and living costs.<

Try r/uklegaladvice including the information another commenter has put about who is behind the so called LSB
Consistent_List9414@reddit (OP)
Tired and they only help UK individuals.
Fibro-Mite@reddit
Did you try r/LegalAdviceUK (that's a different sub) as far as I am aware, they don't restrict advice to UK residents but only to matters that fall under UK laws?
Consistent_List9414@reddit (OP)
I tried, they wanted me to input a location that I’m from the UK. And I’m not.
user-74656@reddit
They want to know which jurisdiction governs your legal dispute because we have three of them in the UK. In your case it will be England and Wales as LSB are incorporated at a London address.

Thanks this is helpful
