OO training

Anyone know how many training sessions are able to be added? I have had 2 added and am worried if I get a third I will be terminated. Can anyone that has been through the training in this situation give insight.

Also for context I have passed all prior tests without issue. MV is where I had added sessions.
YogurtclosetNo770@reddit
Not to be a downer, but the “tests” prior to the MV aren’t exactly rigorous. Just saying that I don’t think that adds helpful context for the TRB, the MV is the common hiccup point.
Fritzy421@reddit
From what I remember 2 added sessions is 6 months of special tracking, 3 added sessions is 18 months and anything after that you are most likely terminated. However if all of your added sessions occur during a single phase like MV or LOE then you can only have 2 and a 3 will send you to a TRB/termination. I got 2 added during MV or LOE (forget which) and I remember that if I didn’t get signed off after the 2nd added session I would have been terminated/sent to the TRB.

Search your EFB documents for "Collective Bargaining Agreement" In that document, digital pages 98-103, under "Training Standard Practice" Section 5 and Section 8 are your answers.

Wait does Skywest actually call it a CBA? That's hilarious
G_Platypus@reddit
"whaddaya you need a union for? You already got a CBA! They'd just take 10% of your paycheck for something you already have!"
Flimsy-Ad-858@reddit
"Why should we do our own bargaining when we can simply ride the coattails of the remainder of the industry?"
DeltaTule@reddit
Except OO is the lowest paid regional believe it or not
Flimsy-Ad-858@reddit
I'd believe it. Thankfully I don't pay attention to that kind of thing anymore.
I do remember when Endeavor, Envoy, and a couple others all went to $90 Y1 FO while Skywest was all proud of their "TA" at $60 and then pulled it because they care so much about their pilots and definitely not because they'd be the far and away lowest payers in the industry.
DeltaTule@reddit
That was back when Mesa then shocked the world and became the highest paid Y1 FOs at $100/hour. OO is such a dirtbag company. The level of indoctrination there should be studied and possibly evaluated for criminality imo. Something not right about that place.
Flimsy-Ad-858@reddit
I mean technically their union suppression has probably reached illegality at this point, but good luck finding a lawyer or court in the state of Utah to make that magic happen.
DeltaTule@reddit
Ya, that whole case about them suing former employees they already fired for allegedly giving out contact information when in reality they were just the ones leading the union drive 💀
TristanwithaT@reddit
Well, the alleged methods they used to get the contact information was very sketchy. If that’s indeed what happened, the terminations were deserved.
cyclomethane_@reddit
Fwiw if you're going off of FO first year pay, I believe C5 is \~$12/hour lower than OO
Imaginary_Amoeba3461@reddit
It wasn’t called that. I think it was called the PPM(Pilot Policy Manual) or something it’s been awhile.
busting_bravo@reddit
Yeah, it changed a year or two ago?
Imaginary_Amoeba3461@reddit
I thought there would be legal repercussions for calling it a CBA. Guess not.
sprulz@reddit
I knew about the student council but I didn’t realize the company was also in on the union LARP hahaha
cbrookman@reddit
Collective bargaining suggestions?
Bever22@reddit
This is the answer. Don’t ask us, or ask your spouse to ask on the spouse FB, look it up yourself.
Additionally you can talk to your instructor or a SAPA rep or any one of the people who briefed you during training and gave you their contact info for questions.

How many full motion sims sessions total do you get at OO? When i interviewed and got the tbnt at SW they advertiesed 15 full motion sims sesions in addition to all of the other training and 24 hour access to the procedures trainer whenever you wanted when the schedule was open.
TristanwithaT@reddit
CRJ is 12. 10 regular sessions (7 maneuvers and 3 LOFT) plus 2 checkrides (MV and LOE).
will-fly-for-food@reddit
Had an added session, Busted my LOE and was shown the door. My mess up and I have been working on that area in hopes of getting back in. That being said, one guy in the class was WAAAAAY behind everyone else, added sessions, special tracking, sent to a different city to see if that helps and ended up getting the boot as well so it seems to vary. (CRJ)
NoChannel5873@reddit
I have got a buddy he got 2 add sessions in MV and still flies for OO dont worry. Do lots of chair flying and call outs. Me and my sim partner were throwing balls and do the call outs on our every break. MV is just call outs. But yes if you need more than 2 it goes to board. Just relax do not think about failing it doesnt help you at all. If you are CRJ guy/gal feel free to DM if you need any questions. You got it buddy just relax and study
why_am_i_here415@reddit
2 added gets you special tracking. If your having obvious issues and need more you make get trb, not sure how theyre doing it anymore
HappyBappyAviation@reddit
This is still accurate.
Ok_Witness179@reddit
Also to add just for fair warning: trb is very unforgiving. I didn't hear about anybody getting a positive outcome from it. About 20% of class was terminated on sims.
B1G_D11CK_R111CK_69@reddit
With the number of individuals trying to apply for the regionals, odds are OP could be looking through the door. However, it all depends on how OP does on the MV.
Flashy-Cup-9100@reddit
You will be. Happened to my friend in training
YamComprehensive7186@reddit
Don’t focus on that, just keep doing the best you can do and stay positive with a willing to learn attitude. If you don’t make it then you know you gave it your all and did the best you could do.

cool thanks for letting us know
brongchong@reddit
Study. Chair fly. Study more. Every callout. Every trigger. Every flow.
Fly good, don’t suck!
Foreign_Kick1790@reddit
When I went through it was a 10 hour bank. Maybe that’s changed?
554TangoAlpha@reddit
1 is free (I had 1 no sweat, 2 is special tracking, 3 or more is company/training board dependent. An allowable excuse would be like my sim partner got sick and left me alone with random seat subs or wacky schedule changes. They were sending guys to sims in Paris years ago.
HappyBappyAviation@reddit
I remember that lol. I did have that on my list of options and I considered it because Paris lol. Then I got some sense talked into me and instead went with Seattle lol.
554TangoAlpha@reddit
It sounded terrible, economy to Paris, sim was like hour outside in bumfuck no where.
HappyBappyAviation@reddit
Yeahhh... That combined with "do you really wanna fail a sim because you were on the other side of the world?" made me really question if it was worth it. I made a good choice haha.
554TangoAlpha@reddit
Ya fuck that, I just decided I’ll get depressed and fat at the STL drury inn instead.
Twarrior913@reddit
Read the “CBA” (heavy quotation marks), it describes new hire training policy.
atomatoflames9@reddit
I heard it goes to the training board and they decide your fate. There was a guy in my class that was terminated for it. Do lots of chair flying thats what helped me through the sim training
