Yes. During 2021 when KAC uppers were impossible to get my buddy built a knock off SR15 with a noveske barrel…. He payed $500 for a stripped upper and $700 for a stripped non-ambi lower

I got an email the other day for kac blem stripped lowers on sale for $725, down from $1300.. lmao

Those lowers are a total shit show too, when they were being sold by KAC and retail on them was like $200, they sold well enough despite being a basic forged lower. The problem was they weren’t (at the time) being sold as blems but were absolutely blems, we had so many complaints of them being out of spec with one customer having to send back 4 lowers and each one having to go back 2-3 times. The finish was mediocre on them, Aero lowers looked better and were actually in spec.
