i live in the uk n im trying to find a new car, idk if its possible but i want a car that i can charge at home, its manual and its relatively small and also not too expensive. Honestly, im not good with cars so i dont even know if theres a car like this😢

Manual electric cars do NOT exist. What you want is hopes and dreams.

😂 fair enough thank u

Why does it need to be electric? Why not just get a small petrol hatchback with a manual gearbox? Alternatively, get an electric car and drive an automatic. What's the priority for you, electric or manual?

bc my parents have a full electric car so my mum said that i could try to find a car that i can charge at their house so i dont have to spend a lot of money, honestly i want to do that but i dont think i will unless i get an electric car, but what ive heard from other plp full electric cars r more expensive that manual cars so i was hoping i would find a car like that but i dont think theres anything like n im just looking for somth that doesnt exist 😪😪😓

Hybrid you don't want ev yeah but here's some tips claimed ranges isn't real it loses some in the cold for example a 250miles range ev would do 200 in the winter and 250 maybe bit more in summer also charging speed matters faster the better probably best for you is Renault 5 or if you can't afford it the Renault Zoe 2020 onwards though old ones are crap

You want an electric manual?
lalalalalalalols@reddit (OP)
yeahhh idk if its like acc possible bc ive looked online n all ive found was either manual or no manual without charge, so im asking id theres anything like that

You've booked what?
Try using full sentences to actually tell us your situation and what on earth you're tying to do?
unwilling_viewer@reddit
Manual and charge at home? Not sure anyone has ever done a manual PHEV. Think you're out of luck already.
lalalalalalalols@reddit (OP)
great 😪😢
JCDU@reddit
EV's generally don't NEED gearboxes like ICE cars do so you're kind of asking for something that is pointless, they either have fixed gears.
You need to explain better what problem you're actually trying to solve here?
Technically you can charge any EV/PHEV at home so that part is easy.
After that - there's a few small EV's, Dacia Spring is one of the cheapest if you mean brand new, or there's the little Hyundai thing.

A couple companies have done concepts of full EVs that simulate standard transmissions, but yeah, actual manuals are limited strictly to ICEs

I think we should start with what car you actually want/need.

I want to say that the Honda Insight had a manual, but it was just a hybrid and not a plug in.
Miliean@reddit
There are no manual EVs and also no manual hybrids.
In terms of an EV, a manual is never required because the motors produce 100% of their torque through the entire rev range. meaning, there are no need for gears at all, let alone a manual way to shift them. There are simply no gears on 99% of EVs and on the very rare case where gears exist, they are not shifted manually.
Manual hybrids are exceedingly rare, and none of them have been plug in hybrids. So a plug in manual as a hybrid does not (to the best of my knowledge) exist.

A manual car that you can charge? I mean I guess the Genovation GXE if you want a legitimate manual transmission in an electric car. They're only going to put out about 75 units though and it's bound to be close to a million dollars by the time you pay for it, the taxes, and the registration.

😪well thats great, thank u
Jacklunk@reddit
Honda would be the closest thing
Daniele323@reddit
There’s plenty of small plug in electric cars. None of them are manual.
