What do you use it for?
If gaming then the 5700 x3d and 5800 x3d handily best the 5950x. Also most games cannot make use of the 16 cores the 5950x has.
If you do streaming then the extra 8 cores have some merit. If you do lots of photo/video editing and other workloads that can be heavily parallelized, then as well.
I doubt you're running language models locally, because for that you would have gotten a 5090 or a couple 3090s or some non-gaming gpus for their massive VRAM.
Also, you probably don't need the 64GB RAM. Unless you really like to game with 200+ Chrome tabs open. And VScode and a 4k movie paused on the background. I have a 5950x with 32GB RAM, I keep 100+ tabs open on the background, and can game just fine (1440p ultrawide with a 3070).

I do photography so I opted for the 16, but I was thinking on switching the storage to 32 thanks for your input

Do u already have any of this? Amd is this for gaming or a workstation.
Now if its for gaming u would see better performance from a 14600k if u want DDR4 and better performance from a 7800x3d if u are willing to go DDR5. While the 5950x was great its not something Id build with new unless u are getting a really good deal on

It's strange to go for a 5 year old 5950x for a new bult unless you are on a very strict budget and needs 64GB, 16 cores and a 5080.
If it's a (primarily) gaming rig it's a terrible selection of components but I assume it's for something else primarily.
