DO NOT BUY AIPAS EBIKES

Okay I know a lot of people make bullshit posts like this but hear me out, I have many reasons to make this post.
One is that using the price graph built into Google search (The website doesn't have any history on the way back machine), I'm 99% sure they're running a persistent price scam. Almost all of their products are (usually more than) 50% off, seemingly all the time. You aren't getting a $1,600 e-bike for $700, you're getting a $700 e-bike.
Two is that the bike that I got (C2 Xpress) has honestly been pretty decent overall (please keep in mind that I have no experience before this one) but the other day (2 weeks in) my back inner tube punctured in 3 spots. I was halfway to work and had to walk my bike the rest of the way. luckily I noticed it was flat as a couple walked by and they offered to fill it just so I can make it the rest of the way. We filled the tire all the way, it had no air before I even left their driveway. After bringing it to a local bike shop they told me that the bike seems decent overall but my rims are quote "pieces of shit", and the back rim has a large enough gap to where you can fit an entire fingernail in between the tire and the rim. According to them it was a massive safety hazard because the gap is large enough for debris to get in. I'm using my warranty to get a replacement but I'll probably just get better rims because this is my car.
They advertised 62 mi of range with PAS, but even going 8 under it's max (so 20mph) with pedal assist (I pedal harder specifically to save battery) it BARELY lasts 25 miles, and I've seen posts online saying they lie about both battery capacity and brand (they claim that it's a Samsung but it's just a generic brand). Full throttle 28mph it dies on a two way trip to work (total 3.6 mile ride)
Also after owning this thing for 4 days the back rim started making a noise, It sounds like something is dangling against the metal but nothing is loose? Almost sounds like something inside of the motor Is rolling around.
Overall I have been very unhappy with my experience, and the only reason I got it is because I thought I was getting a decent deal and only did surface level research. From the research I did on e-bikes as a whole, you should be more careful than I was when looking into them. It seems like a lot of EBike brands pull shit like this

this "don't buy no name brand" gets posted here every week, people still buy cause they're suckers for cheap things. consider it a lesson to learn. and just FYI those bikes aren't worth $700 the total cost of components on them is less than $100 and if you buy them in bulk you can snag them for $200-300 each.
Pocketnaut@reddit (OP)
It's not that I'm a sucker for cheap things I would have spent 2k if I could. I don't have a car I desperately needed something to get to work and my town is large and spread out. I couldn't afford the better options.

Read my comment I left..everyone if u don't already know should stay away from the anioki bikes..I don't have money either..I make minimum wage at a damn fast food joint..I don't drive either and rely on ebike for transportation..I saved 2000 dollars and bought one just to literally have nothing work properly.every single time I step on it it's another problem..this online shuts a gamble with these bikes that have little to none customer service..I never bought a bike from a bikes hop because I don't want to pay 2000 for a bike that only goes 20mph and realistic range where i live would be horrible.

Dude don't act like you know my situation. This bike in the 2 weeks alone has paid itself off in saved Uber trips, and I make about $20-$30 a day with a biweekly $60 paycheck. I've been trying to save money for the past 2 years but literally can't because my parents charge me $800 a month for rent and I don't have the money to go anywhere else. I've also finally been able to get a job further away from my house bc I don't have to rely on Ubers and walking when I don't have the money for one, I work at one of the closest businesses to my house and it's still a 2-hour walk one way. I physically could not save $2,000, the most I've had on hand in the past 2 years was $800 and that's when I got the bike. Even if it only lasts two more weeks it still saved me money in its term, and with my new job starts next week I'll actually start making enough money to look into a better bike.
Strange_Morning_9016@reddit
Yeah I don't know ur situation kid..I have real bills plus rent..I have to work 60-70 a week to maintain and save a little..grow up and your problems grow worse

Even some legit companies do the always on sale scammy tactic case in point I got a bull emtb fo 2k but advertised as 2.5k off…. It’s an awesome bike but I’ve never seen them ever raise the price just one sale after the next.
Capn_Flags@reddit
That’s interesting I didn’t know Walmart had a bike under a private label!
velocopide07@reddit
Yes they do and some aren’t too bad look at BATCH and a couple others REI has the COOP brand
James-B0ndage@reddit
Yeah it’s not a scam. It’s just a marketing strategy 🤷🏻♂️
velocopide07@reddit
I agree with the entire post. As an Ebike Mechanic if you want a good quality Ebike follow a couple rules.
Stay away from “cost based e-bikes”(aka Alibaba.com Amazon, and some Costco brands less than $1000).
Look for value brands “bike shop quality bikes”(aka Cannondale, Trek, & most Specalized products… there are numerous European brands as well Harry vs Larry Bullit any Tern product Riese and Mullier)… usually on Bosch, Brose or Bafang products on the new and used market
If you do buy direct to consumer brands look for American presence we have offices in the Continental USA or UK etc…(Ride1Up, Velotric, Bikyrix, RAD???? maybe)

I didn't understand what you mean by the gap between the rim and the tire?
If you rode on a flat tire for more than a few feet, you most likely cut the inner tube with the rim and unseated the tire.
Some bike weenie is always going to have something critical to tell you if you ask them. Bike snobs will shit talk anything and a dude working at a bike shop who probably rides a $5k acoustic bike is going to be the worst.
Just make sure the wheels are true and figure out how to change the flat tire with a new inner tube.
Next most important step is to see what voltage you're getting fully charged and compare it to the specs for the battery that you bought with the bike.
Pocketnaut@reddit (OP)
Well the guy seemed the most informed and professional of everyone that I've talked to. (I've attached an image of his note below)
As for the voltage, not exactly sure how it works but I got to charger with a screen and when it's max it reads 54.6, which I'm pretty sure is the voltage

Can we not post this😭 bro I just listed a new one in the box on Facebook marketplace bro

U think u got problems..I bought a 2000 dollar anioki 1600 watt direct drive motor with a 52volt 70amp battery..as soon as I went to assemble it the lock cylinder fell out and the battery is stuck in the frame, supposed to go 33mp ,all settings are correct and it never got above 29mph,now all a sudden yesterday it is making out at 20mph and the motor feels like it's just not powerful.had the bike for 2 weeks, less than 50 miles..I been trying to return it but it's not gonna happen..im stuck with a 2000 dollar bike im about to thro in the dumpster because just looking at it in my garage at this point is about to give me an anxiety attack..now I have to save for another bike, this is garabage..disconnected all wires at handlebar area and all wires from the controller..I did this one by one..I knew while doing this that it probably wouldn't fix my problem and it didnt,it just got worse, now the right turn signal is blinking without being on and can't turn it off, horn now doesn't work and one of the turn signal buttons is actually controlling the headlight,,wtfffffff..im realizing the gamble on internet ebikes but bike shops want to sell u some bullshit for 2500 that only goes 20mph,has no damage torque and a little tiny battery than don't get u nowhere
James-B0ndage@reddit
You could have posted you were thinking of buying it and we ALL would have warned you not to.
Pocketnaut@reddit (OP)
I did, I didn't receive any comments the next morning
James-B0ndage@reddit
Must not have posted, because I clicked your profile and says your last post from this one was 28 days ago

Happy Cake Day!!🍰😁
James-B0ndage@reddit
Is that like my Reddit birthday? Lol thanks btw
2shado2@reddit
Yes, it is.🎂👍
Pocketnaut@reddit (OP)
Damn wtf? I very specifically remember posting about another bike I saw, didn't get any comments on it at all, so when I saw this specific bike I didn't even bother posting it
Michael-Brady-99@reddit
The noise in the back wheel is probably the spokes. There may be some loose ones. Had this issue on one of mine and after adjusting the spokes and trueing the rim it went away.
Pocketnaut@reddit (OP)
Thanks for the info, will definitely check on them today
floridaboy407305@reddit
Wildeway fw11s 3.0 Ebike same price but actually gives you 60-90miles and it folds up .
DasGoat@reddit
The fact that Aipas got caught lying about their bikes being UL certified tells you need to know about this company.
sprintfun@reddit
I have the M2 , just got it a few weeks ago and it's been really good. I've taken it about everywhere at this point and it's big, fast and fun.
You're right about the price thing, there is no "sale" that's just the price. You can pretty easily come across a coupon code for $40 off though. The other things I don't like is they offer accessories for 5* reviews, so you know all those on their website are crap.
My complaint is about the bike color of all things. They call it "grey" but that MF is periwinkle, and I'm not rolling around on a lightly purple bike. I reached out to customer support and they were useless, just kept offering me accessories. So I took it apart and gave it my own paint job one weekend. Now I have a nice navy blue bike that's one of a kind.
I really like the bike, company has been meh.
BodSmith54321@reddit
Half range or less is not too uncommon at max PAS. Most bike companies test at lowest PAS on flat road.
Zentransit@reddit
I've read quite a few complaints about this company, but they do get a positive report from TrustPilot.
Submit your complaint to the BBB

Eeesh. What a nightmare. I am super diligent about buying budget without getting ripped off, and I can say the Vivi ACE01 has been fantastic for the price. I can't speak on their other models, but the ACE01 specifically has been a good bike. I have 1,000 miles on mine so far and aside from a couple of flats I haven't had any issues.
Obviously it's still Chinese made and probably still not great compared to reputable brands, but I've been really pleased with it overall. It feels more like a Chinese brand trying to do things legitimately rather than a Chinese brand trying to make cheap junk passed off as higher quality stuff.
Of course that doesn't help you in this situation, but maybe if anyone else sees your post while looking for a cheap Ebike, they might at least check out the ACE01.
OldCalligrapher1990@reddit
If you're not even getting 4 miles on full throttle I hope you brought that up with customer service because that sounds like a faulty battery.
Nova_Hunter@reddit
You got what you paid for.
