All eBikes should make EV car noises above 5mph

All electric bikes going over 5mph should be forced to make engine sounds like an electric car.
This is my proposal for 2027 law changes and I hope you all will agree with this.
Why? Because with the exception of the chain making slight clicking noise, e-bikes are super quiet. There are children who could be brutally destroyed causing mass destruction because they dont hear a unlocked Surron barreling down toward them at 60mph.
Something like this is what I propose for every single eBike made starting now: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/589DWOVQmCg
Now first thing you might say is, "this very loud" well a little. However it is soothing, imagine hearing multiple simultaniously in harmony with the birds chipring. This is what we want, safe solutions that are peacful.
If there are any objections post a comment but I suspect at least 90% will agree. My internal estimates predict majority in agreement for safety reasons.

Some people break the law, and many cops aren’t enforcing the laws that already exist, so let’s punish all the innocent ebike riders?
Ummmm… no.
I WANT quiet. I want to see that coyote frolicking next to the trail. And the people who are almost getting hit have headphones in, they’re not going to hear a noise anyway!

You try getting hit in the ankle by a rogue bike at 6mph and let me know if you want to switch your vote in favor.

I presume you also want to force the addition of these noise makers to all (non-electric) fixed gear bicycles? They go well over 3mph and they’re SILENT silent. By comparison they make ebikes sound ridiculously loud. To your mind they must be the most dangerous of all, right?
Or is this actually all an ebike prejudice because of kids speeding on illegal emotos?

This: 30 is instant decapitation and pools of blood dispersing in all directions brutally ending you and everything you once knew. is obvious rubbish.
I have been hit multiple times by dirt bikes going that fast and while very uncomfortable, my head does seem to still be attached.

I have the Chater-Lea “Road Clearer” on mine as well as an AirZound for emergencies.
The Chater-Lea whistle is noticeable without being aggressive and raises a grin rather than abuse from pedestrians.
If we are forced to have noise makers, I’m going for the Phooeymobile sound. Bongos just make everything better.

Firstly: The kind of bikes you're thinking of are emotos and are covered by an entirely different set of laws and regulations. Legal ebikes are heavily speed and power restricted.
Secondly: You know what is even quieter than ebikes? Road bikes, and most of those can go much, much faster than legal ebikes can.
Point your anger in the right direction. These knee-jerk reactions help nobody.

A stupid idea. It increases the cost of e-bikes, reduces range (think that noise maker doesn't use power), all while increasing nose pollution.
Here's an idea, do what the rest of us do, get your head out of your ass, always be aware of your surroundings, and stop using headsets when walking around. People need to learn to take responsibility for themselves.

I have a better solution. I will sing my 'dying whale' rendition of O Canada as I'm riding along.
I once sang the tune at a hockey game when I was a teen in Canada. My buddies set it up and conned me into doing it. Needless to say, the patrons did not appreciate my singing and referred to it as a 'dying whale'. And of course they never asked me to sing again.
So, if I ride along singing that tune, I'm sure everyone will try to avoid me as much as possible.

Don’t let kids walk in traffic, problem solved
