clear the air regarding linux 011 gui and the vibecoding claims

i see some people trying to label my linux 011 gui project as vibecoding or just some ai generated slop and i think its time to set the record straight i have over 11 years of experience in low level programming and operating system development long before ai agents even existed i grew up with assembly and c debugging kernels on bare metal and fighting with memory management when most of you were still trying to exit vim yes i used modern tools like antigravity and project idx because im a developer in 2026 and i value my time but an ai cannot build a bridge between a 35 year old kernel and a modern vga interface without a human who understands every single interrupt and register at a cellular level my past projects in systems engineering and low level drivers are proof of my expertise if you think prompting is enough to make 011 boot into a graphical environment with mouse support you clearly have never looked at the 011 source code i didnt build this for clout i built it to show that even ancient code can breathe with modern assistance stop trying to gatekeep engineering with arbitrary 3 month rules or labels and start respecting the actual technical architecture if you want to talk about idt tables memory paging or vga drivers im right here but dont call me a vibecoder just because i work faster than you thank you

The 3 month rule will filter the overwhelming majority of AI, and I think every legit dev will understand the rule if they're considering posting their new projects here.
It's a sad reality that slopperators have been flooding reddit subs with slop projects. We absolutely need to filter them.
And your posts get thousands of likes, so it's not like people aren't anxious to see it. I'm one of the people very excited to see it. But it's not like I can't wait 3 months to do so?

TRUE

11 years of programming experience but 0 in grammar. Yikes.

From what I see during my day job, that tracks.

Tldr?

You should delete this post and work on the project yourself. If you care about your project for your own purpose, don't care about anyone's accusations. If you want others to realize that it isn't vibe-coded, prove it by developing and maintaining your project over time.
Vibecoding projects are a huge problem, especially here. There's a good reason for rules to mitigate ai slop.

If there's one thing AI could help you with, it's punctuating your post. Holy fuck.

Well at least it's clear to me that this unreadable mess of a post isn't AI

exactly thanks for noticing that i am a real human being with real emotions and zero patience for gatekeeping while ai can write perfect grammar it cannot understand the pain of debugging a 35 year old kernel so i prefer my messy human logic over polished ai garbage any day at least now we know who can see beyond the punctuation and who is just a grammar bot

honestly if this community is so offended by a veteran developer using modern tools to revive a piece of history i can just delete the post and the project right now i have nothing to prove to gatekeepers who care more about rules than innovation i built this out of love for systems engineering but if you prefer a dead kernel over a functional gui just because you are scared of the future let me know and i will remove it immediately and leave you to your discussions
