This is a one-way to one-way turn, four lanes wide. Is this even possible to clear starting in the far left lane?

I could do that turn with a 53. The trouble is that doubles off-track more, and it looks like the driver didn't swing wide enough or watch to make sure the last axle cleared.
I don't pull doubles or triples, so I couldn't tell you if it was possible with the second trailer. Maybe someone who does can chime in.

They can turn tighter than a 53. You have about 6ft more to work with than a 53.

A well-trained, safe driver wouldn't end up in this scenario though. They'd either do it right, or stop once they realized they couldn't. No need to throw new laws at the problem, just train people to competency.

It’s not just there 🙄🙄🙄. There’s bigger issues outside that one area that need addressing. So in the case of elsewhere , your opinion is essentially invalid because you haven’t seen the constant shit I have , which is the reason I say they need to be banned.

By that logic, 53ft single trailers need to be banned. I see accidents involving those every day. I almost never see double 45' trailers like the setup in this post, let alone see them in accidents.
