Got this m9. Was wondering why it wasn’t firing..so it turns out my firing pin tip didn’t even exist

so I guess they’re not including a “fired” brass with new pistols anymore?
smokeyser@reddit
Didn't the states that required that finally drop that requirement?

The only one of my past 5 pistols that had fired brass with it was ironically a cheap RIA 1911.

That's the only one I can think of too, before that was a buddies Bersa Thunder.

Same, only ever gotten fired brass from a private deal (great guy), and a RIA M206

I haven't had one in the last 2 I've bought so I presume so, even Ruger stopped including it as far as I'm aware.

Shockingly my xdm did come with casings and even a target.

Damn sure didn’t get one out of that m9! 😂

Did you get this new from the manufacturer, or second hand with someone telling you it was never fired?

New from a beretta dealer.
Highlander_16@reddit
Well, at least you can attempt a warranty claim then lol

Eh. Might as well swap parts out while I have the pistol part.

Unless you were already planning on upgrading some parts I would get the firing pin warranteed.
