Will cigarette smoke damage new paint that has just dried?

Dumb question out of left field but I am paranoid of ruining my new paint before I even get it polished

I kind of doubt it. But if it encourages you to quit it's absolutely going to orange peel the shit out of it 🙂
I smoked for fifteen years. Been two years and five months since I quit. I can breathe in the stink of my farts again. Life's good.

I quit for a few years but got started back up because life started to get harder and I needed that extra stress relief on demand again. I roll my own now though with zig-zag tubes because they dont have the extra chemicals in the filters and paper, plus its cheaper. 200 cigs costs me 20 bucks, its great.
But good to kmow about the paint. I didnt think it would hurt it cause guys painted cars in the 50s-90s when everyone smoked like 20 packs a day, and the paint didnt get ruined then, so I didnt think it would now. But I still wanted to check.

Try vaping, and NOT disposables for the love of god. Try a pod system to get started. Research extensively first, learn what’s similar to a cigarette in nicotine level. I swapped from cigarettes to vaping and I gotta say a few weeks ago I tried a cigarette and it was just disgusting to me.

I disagree here, vaping is gonna be too easy to just keep hitting, when he wants to smoke now hes gotta go and roll up, thats a lot more effort and in my opinion is easier to quit

Same difference. They're both bad in their own ways (and mostly in the same ways too). It's a lose/lose situation either way. Glad I quit.

This is my experience too, cigarettes stink and leave my mouth feeling like an ashtray but vaping is just a different thing. Cleaner nicotine delivery to put it simply.

As someone that had to clean the house of a avid chain smoker yup. Dude we had to bleach the walls multiple times before we even cracked the nicotine film. Then it stunk worse, it got alot worse before it got better. The walls where a yellow brown-ish, it was nasty.

Cigarette smokes damaged everything.
Smoke outside, it will help you cut down.

I've smoked while actively spraying cars before. It'll be fine. Do quit smoking though 10/10 would recommend that.
Also though why'd it even leave the shop if it hadn't been polished yet? What kind of half assed maaco shit is that?

It didnt leave the shop, im doing it myself, and I have to work during the day so I only get to work on my car at night
