almost as if you can't tell one socialist from another
Means of the production is factories and the farms. And the profits are split between the workers by the hand of the governmet. Which peoples themselves have dificulty to organise as a nation of workers.
We can discuss the authoritarian sprit of the socialism. And how socialism can be changed, within the left circles. There may be some real issues in them. But you saying "When government does stuff" doesnt add anything into discussion.
how are workers gonna own the means of production in a centralised economy dumbass?
the inherent flaw of socialism is it fails to see the obvious answer to the between conflict between freedom and societies needs is a free market economy not centralised power.
Then again, we all know socialists dont want prosperity and freedom, what you guys really want is hegelian progress to bring humanity to the eschaton. Exactly like zionists and conservative evangelical fanatics.

This is not an impossible question, even the most authoritarian socialst governments solved this issue. What owning the means of the production is. Getting rid of the middle man that is called the boss that hoards the wealth from you. What happens in socialist systems is that workers worked for themselves and get the salary according to their works. The money isnt hoarded by anyone. The issue with the soviets was that they had to compete with the american military industrial complex so %17 of their GDP went into military spending. Wich ended in state taking the money.
We can analyse these issues and solve them with the help of planning technologies like computers and AI that gets rid of the breaucrats. But there is no inherent eror with socialism and owning means of production. Also till the Ruling of Stalin (in the time of Lennin) NEP was allowed wich meant there was small private establishments and prohibited monopolies.
There is no inherent flaw in socialism and freedoms. To gain freedom one should firstly get the economical freedom. How can we call a man working all his day free. We can see that the stalinist regime and its predesors curbed freedoms but that was from his governence not the whole doctorine. We are not living in the 50s. We can better the leftist system. With the technology of this age.
We can see what "free" market economy actually ends up in. The rich and the corporations doesnt want freedoms. They want a strong government to enforce workers into their will. This happened in asia in europe in latin america in africa. This "free" market capital will bring a limited prosperity for a limited time with the flow of the capital. But eventualy what this ends up with is that rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. With the destruction of the middle class the rich corporations get right to their monopolies. Whats happening with the world after the 2008 crysis is exactly this.
Then again, we all know socialists dont want prosperity and freedom, what you guys really want is hegelian progress to bring humanity to the eschaton. Exactly like zionists and conservative evangelical fanatics.

Wow what a socialist heaven where state sponsors private monopolies for the economy.
Socialism isnt when government does stuff. Its when the control of the means of production by the workers is provided by the government.

"when the control of the means of production by the workers is provided by the government."
congratulations, you've written the stupidest, most self contradictory sentence ever.

Explain on it.
"This is stupid"
