Not at all true, this is a marketing point that keeps getting repeated. FN and DD started advertising their barrels as CHF, and people extrapolated the idea that high-quality barrels from FN and DD (to include machine gun barrels) are made via cold hammer forging; therefore, the CHF process is what made them more durable. This isn’t true at all, it’s just a cheaper way to mass produce a decent quality barrel.

I have bought a couple of these and they are chrome lined and have a pinned gas block. Same barrel in some of the Aero Pro Series

I’m not saying you’re incorrect, but none of the listings for this MPN mention it being chrome lined or including a pinned gas block.

Proof is in the pudding and the three of these my stack of barrels are CL and Pinned, I was not suggesting these were as good as any of my Gucci barrels but they are nice for $119. The BA Hanson 14.5 AR15Dic had for $135 CHF/CL was the deal though.
I was wrong I ordered two after the first one came with CL and Pinned gas block. I orderd the the first because the kid who wrote the review on the website posted on R /Aero what was the barrel he had received from AR15Disc.

55gr shoots like shit, so it doesn't matter if the twist isn't optimized for that.
That said, people blow twist rates way out of proportion on an ar15. Especially folks who shoot factory ammo and think the twist rate is their issue....

Not at all for heavy stuff. 55gr? It depends on the specific barrel. Some send it well enough, others not so much.

yep I have been and blackrifledepot but it's something that went on sale for $99 twice and I missed both times lol I don't want it for $264 or whatever list is, that's Criterion pricing, but at $99 I'm sold.

Their barrels are fine, same OEM as Ballistic Advantage. CHF is good but not chrome lined for longevity so it's kind of a corner-cut barrel to get to this price. Profile is not correct for M4 clone. P&W builds are going out of style with $0 tax stamps so I'm really not sure why you'd want a 14.5" if you're not doing a clone build.

Unless you need a barrel Right Now there have been better flash sales, there probably will be better flash sales. It's there if someone wants one right away and doesn't mind the compromises present.
