Enjoy! I flew PEK-FRA on B-2482 last month and it was simply a joy to get to experience the Queen one more time. Hoping to squeeze in one more flight this either on Air China or Lufthansa before both retire them for good.
Every time I think I'm taking my last 747 flight, another opportunity comes up! Even better that this was a change after I had booked! Upper deck booked, of course

Is it a -8 or -400?

-400

It is a 747-8

Really? No chevron engines, no lengthened upper fuselage, you can't see from here but no swept wingtips. Just wanna know how I'm wrong
sizziano@reddit
Upper deck is lengthened.
You can't see the chevron from this angle but you can see the curved fan blades.

Thanks, was genuinely curious

Where? I didn't know Air China still had 747s

Frankfurt. They still fly them domestically between Beijing and Shanghai/Guangzhou, as well as JFK and Washington I think.

How does it feel to be living my dream

I definitely read that as RIP China at first glance.

I’m so jealous. Enjoy!

Oh this is the one that has the F class after of the forward doors
youwhatwhat@reddit (OP)
Yep, that's the one. And the J class layout in the nose is slightly weird too, they've left a massive dead space in front of the frontmost seats
