Ryzen 5900XT Temperatures?

I am very much aware that the 5900XT is a "refresh" of the Ryzen 5950X. My question is regarding temperature differences... Should I assume that the 5900XT runs a bit cooler than it's counterpart given it has a lower Base Clock (3.3GHz vs 3.7GHz)? I cannot find any information online about its Load Temperature... Differences in temperature would be a deal breaker for me given the high ambient temperature of the room in which it will be running. Thank you all in advance :)

It's a hot boi. Gonna need a semi decent air cooler or 360mm aio.

Slightly hotter when idle. like 2-3C. when under load its the same assuming you are using the same cooler and thermal paste with enough thermal headroom to spare for both.

Thank you!!

oh i was talking about the 5950x being 2-3C hotter btw.

Thank you kindly once again :D

XT pretty much mean better power efficently and its a binned chip level proformance and quality

Negligible difference in heat.
Can you put your pc in a closet or other room and run wires to it? That would help with your room temp

Thank you as well for you answer :)

I would think it would run a shade higher due to the higher boost clock. I wouldn't expect more than a 2-3c increase though.

BTW according to Toms Hardware, they seem to have the same Boost Clock. I will go and check on the official AMD website as well

Many thanks!

Base clock is essentially irrelevant. They have almost identical boost clocks and the same TDP. I'm going to assume that they will generate almost identical amounts of heat.

Tank you!
