Last week someone shared CozyTalk here and I might finally move on from Reddit

I am obsessed with the retro style and the wholesome vibe there.
Nearly everyday the person making it keeps adding a ton of features.
Seriously considering dumping Reddit now I think I have found the perfect corner of the internet for me.

Check out surikata.app that was posted not long ago, it has similar retro vibes but it's more functional imo.

It looks pretty I really like the style but signing up on mobile was a bad experience, so I would hard disagree on more functional.
I also have very little interest in following other people for their content so it’s not really for me.
It also looks like there’s barely anyone there posting unless I’m missing something?

Love how it looks, hate the stupid noises.

You could maybe mute it? I like the nostalgia of the noises also the radio is pretty fun.

I’ve been there for several days now…. Wonder if I have +1 talked on one of your posts.

I’m not into places that focus on a “wholesome” or “cozy” vibe because I find that is the basis for toxic positivity, but I hope you enjoy the hell out of it. The retro styling is awesome.

I've experienced similar with cozy games and their communities especially, but this has been a nice exception so far. The style is definitely my favorite aspect!

Saw this posted the other day and have been excited to poke around, was so busy last week though!

Looks cool but need subreddits

If you’re on about the boards, just ask the dev said he’s taking a few days off but he’s been rolling out updates and adding pretty much everything requested over the past few days

I checked it out when it was shared, and I love what the dev is building. It’s easily one of my favorite alternatives that’s been shared here.
Great concept and a strong foundation. 👏

I've not signed on yet but I admit it's the only site linked on this sub that I browsed for more than ten seconds. It's a really nice design and very intuitive, very nostalgic too.

I really like it already has a bit of a community and everyone is trying to channel wholesomeness for the most part, I think cozy being in the name really fosters a nice environment and it’s a nice corner of the internet.
