The color is pretty much all you can complain about since it’s not really a restomod. There aren’t tons of glaringly period incorrect parts on there. There aren’t extensive body mods. You people just love to whine and gripe

Lowering a car is nearly always reversible so why would that matter? It’s not permanently ruining anything. Purists just make no sense to me

Usually to get this low it’s airbagged, which means significant “non reversible” modifications to the suspension.
*technically anything can be reversed but usually stuff gets cut off to make way for the new suspension.

I see what you mean, but that is an elevated ridge running down the middle of the hood. The angle make it look like it's part of the driver side headlight which causes the illusion
