India 101 in irving
The_World_Is_A_Slum@reddit
Maybe I’ve been unlucky every single time over the past few years. I don’t know why I kept giving them another chance, but I’m not going back.
India 101 is not good at all.
Universe33_11@reddit
Its a hit or a miss honestly, but they do have alot of options. Delhi lounge is also a good one, a little pricer but good foood

Taj Mahal on 75 just south of Meadow. It's a great lil' hole in the wall Indian Buffet and doesn't get enough attention IMO.

Mythris in Irving has been excellent every time I’ve been, and they always have something I hadn’t tried before. Good vegetarian choices, and based on the clientele, it must be close to real Indian food.

Herb’s in Hurst is the best one I’ve had.

Mamtas in Richardson. I could drink the coconut tomato soup

If you mean Mumtaz on Campbell then I agree 100%. Just make sure you don't go to the Mumtaz in Plano given the video that went viral of the worker who was caught peeing right outside 🤮

The piss adds to the mis en scene.
CommanderSquirt@reddit
As long as it's not added to the mise en place.

Kalachandji's is always great!

Thirding. Plus it's a beautiful ambiance in the courtyard

Second that!

Not a buffet, but Gymkhana just opened up downtown on Main, and it was fantastic
uksiddy@reddit
Is it the same Gymkhana from London??
Salty_Life_7810@reddit
No

Interested to see results. Most that I’ve found are wildly oily.
Wholenchilada@reddit
Uhh....Ghee has entered chat
xomox2012@reddit
Ghee, butter, oil, etc. really doesn’t matter to me. An oily texture indicates that whatever lipid was used is too much and that has been the case for most places.

India Palace on Preston Road

Best in town. And they've been the best for decades.
liatriss_@reddit
Oof, yes thank you for spell checking that!

I had diarrhea reading this

Not Indian, but try Spicy Zest in Farmers Branch. Very good Sri Lankan buffet

Tandoor Indian Restaurant on Fielder in Arlington. Ate there for the first time around Easter. Not a super large selection, but decent, and reasonably priced.
Wizzmer@reddit
We used to go there for lunch buffet, go back to the office and nap. So full!

Bombay Republic Indian Kitchen, Sigree Indian Grill
