I get these spiders in my house. Leave them be mostly. If I get to many I use a paper tissue and grab them gently with that and then throw them and the tissue outside so they live on!

Just leave them alone. They're completely harmless cellar spiders who will keep all the other bugs away.

Looks like a cellar spider? If it is, leave them if you can as they eat other, nastier spiders.

It could be worse, I've just had two male false widows descend from the ceiling like something out of Arachnophobia (1990) and now I'm convinced there must be a nest of the bastards somewhere
