From what i remember from the videos i saw those rockets where a nightmare to deal with ( if you are on the other end ) because light / short range AA where not in use by the U.S in there military bases / outposts so the rocket would nearly all the time hit there target and they were used to target large bases and even checkpoints
Caterpillar-14@reddit (OP)
how accurate are these rockets
trngngtuananh@reddit
Probably accurate enough to hit the intended target with fragment(s)
om_svd7@reddit
Why did you separate the s from the word fragments 😂 any way yes you are correct and latter rockets that apperd during the war had a larg fragmentation case around them and the rocket it self was bigger as well
trngngtuananh@reddit
I don't know if it can hit close enough to guarantee multiple fragments, or the case has reliable fragmentation.
om_svd7@reddit
Add the case is like adding nuts and nails to bomb it would 100% the fragments
om_svd7@reddit
They are not very accurate but you dont need that much accuracy when aiming at a large target like a base but the iraqis got some what good at using there aim got better with the war intensifying
JonnyV42@reddit
As a recipient of these rockets, you learn the incoming sound and drop by reflex by the 2nd or 3rd time

Jaish Al Naqshabandiya. I believe they were Sufis, the most creative group with homemade weapons and they loved singing and dancing, so they also had a lot of theme songs.
dl_supertroll@reddit
Who were they fighting at this point? Americans or ISIS?
EquivalentGur8975@reddit
At that point in time, probably still Americans.
Silverfruitpunch@reddit
Honestly, put down a grill and get some beers and this looks like an amazing day out with the boys
Caterpillar-14@reddit (OP)
i dont think they drink beers tho 😸😸😸 maybe hookah?
om_svd7@reddit
A cold coke can get the job done
Correndell@reddit
A cold line of coke? Damn you know how to party, I wanna go to your barbecues.
TenTonSomeone@reddit
You know how menthol cigarettes go great with coke? I bet it would be even better if you threw some crushed up menthol crystals straight into your powder!
JonnyV42@reddit
Naaaa they drink Poppy... Err Poppi
HerrGronbar@reddit
Yeah beer and grilled beacon.
Ohiolongboard@reddit
Looks like they’ve upgraded from the spinning tires and ramps? Awesome
SAM5TER5@reddit
Spinning tires and ramps? Okay I wanna hear about this now
Ohiolongboard@reddit
sorry for the AI voiceover, I just went with the first one I saw
SAM5TER5@reddit
Ahh okay yes I do remember this actually lol.
These guys know how to have dumb dangerous fun
Ohiolongboard@reddit
Yep, I love dumb fun. This video reminded me how alike we all are lol I could see me and my friends doing this every weekend for an entire summer
Ohiolongboard@reddit
It was a joke about a viral couple of videos that went around, lemme find it for you.
SAM5TER5@reddit
This may be a good question for a different sub to be honest, though make sure to check the rules first in case any forms of combat footage aren’t allowed.
I wish I knew Arabic a bit better. Be mindful that they could be saying something pretty…controversial lol, but equal chance it’s largely unrelated.
But without knowing the words yet, I’m actually really enjoying this music myself haha

without sound on, I thought it was some ME guys showing off their roombas for the 1st few seconds.
Cam360j@reddit
You missed the part where they taken out by the AC130 overhead.
caffpanda@reddit
Nah, these guys would pop a rocket off, then pack up and in seconds and vanish. Gunships aren't just loitering all the time around installations. Also a big part of why insurgents would operate during the day so much, harder for aerial recon to spot them since thermals wouldn't be as effective.
Office_Responsible@reddit
What a vibe, local talent with some local rocket fire. What a day!
RutCry@reddit
It ain’t no Freebird.
CaliRecluse@reddit
Although I do not know the song name, it's likely that it is a Sufi song based on the daf-like drum and singing style. One of the notable insurgent factions was JRTN, ,which was named after the Naqshbandi Sufi order.
caffpanda@reddit
While it was a bold choice to make October Sky 2 a musical, it's probably why it didn't do very well.
MlackBesa@reddit
This is fucking hilarious, it’s almost satire
Cbombo87@reddit
Guys wake up, new fatwa just dropped.

Insha’llah.
cheese0muncher@reddit
Bards do offer temporary hit points, but I don't know if they help with accuracy.
