ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
she's so cute!
Rich_27-@reddit
Lawrence is a boy
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
damn my bad, he's so cute* 🤣
Rich_27-@reddit
He said thanks, he likes being called cute.
RidethatSeahorse@reddit
Catnip. They won’t poo where they get high.
xwell320@reddit
Doesn't work. Our garden is both a nighttime drug den and a toilet.
RidethatSeahorse@reddit
Oh no… so an urban myth.
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
lol i would love to go toilet and find some weed there, maybe that would attract them even more ahah
Odd_Mycologist_9241@reddit
Mr_Bumcrest@reddit
I cant help, but I really like your garden
Fattydog@reddit
I just can’t get past the fake grass. It’s a great little garden but plastic lawns have no place outside for so many reasons.
Mr_Bumcrest@reddit
Yeah that's true. The layout is nice though.
loperaja@reddit
Its so sad to see nice gardens with fake grass, I don’t even understand why anyone wouldn’t think it looks good. May as well pave it
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
easier to "maintain". by that i mean no mowing needed, lol
Fattydog@reddit
You could try clover or camomile?
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
thanks! i have been trying to keep the spiders and cats away so i can enjoy it as much as possible on summer, sit outside and have a pint, read a book in the sun, etc. last summer i bought a big tent for £99 at decathlon that fits 4 people and it was amazing
OdinForce22@reddit
Because spiders and cats are famously repelled by plastic...
cecil_the-lion@reddit
Get some XL bullys, that will do the trick
ukbot-nicolabot@reddit
A top level comment (one that is not a reply) should be a good faith and genuine attempt to answer the question
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
the mods have banned them 💔
Individual-Cut-5582@reddit
We have a dog and the cat next door has learnt to avoid our side of fence, saying that the squirrels wind him right up with their mission impossible shit!
Wooks81@reddit
Job done.
VolcanicBear@reddit
Cats stopped pooping in our garden when we got dogs.
deprevino@reddit
It's a good idea until you realise your dog is so passive that it literally walks past cats in the garden to take a dump. 😂
VolcanicBear@reddit
Hey, at least they'll save you from cleaning up the cat shit by eating it!
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
my mrs would love a dog haha, but then i'd have to clean my dog's poo in the end 😆 maybe in the future
gse2026@reddit
Getting a couple of your own cats would likely solve that issue
Rubberfootman@reddit
It doesn’t. Trust me.
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
funny you mention that because my sister's cat just gave birth to 3 kittens... and back home my dad now has 2 cats despite his whole life he's preferred dogs and hated the idea of having a cat. i'd prefer a dog anyway, but raising a child AND taking care of a larger pet whilst me and my girl work full time wouldn't really land :(
runew0lf@reddit
Pellet Gun!
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
probably need a license to own a pellet gun which will require a license to prove i am legally able to request a license to own a pellet gun license to then own my pellet gun and will need another license to use it
runew0lf@reddit
LOL
Cheap catapult then!!
Or a trebuchet filled with catnip!
TheDawiWhisperer@reddit
Big fucking eagle
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
where can i find one
Psychostickusername@reddit
Just get a bunch of cats in your garden to attract one
Anubis1958@reddit
Get your own cat
trippykitsy@reddit
put out stuff for the cats and they will treat it like a home base instead of a toilet
No-Sandwich1511@reddit
You can buy tiger manure online to act as a detergent . You can also get in B&Q ect
Neddlings55@reddit
What pets do you have and do they have access to your garden?
Obviously you want to use something that isnt going to cause whatever animals you have distress or discomfort.
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
a cockatiel and a hamster, no access to outside
PositiveTemporary977@reddit
Train the hamster to fly the cockateil into battle
Honest-Cover9513@reddit
This is the best option imo.
SallyJaneCooper@reddit
99p at Poundland. Sprinkled on the perimeter and cats stopped coming in.
mad_saffer@reddit
We had issues with cats. Since your lawn is fake, you could put citronella oil on it without fear of killing any plants. We sprayed it on our fence and cats stayed away, but no lies, it killed our ivy and the jasmine I was growing.
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
citronella oil, got it, will have a look 🙂↕️
adymann@reddit
Water spraying IR cat repellent, works a treat. Well, it did for me anyway.
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
i've thought about that. cost wise, how was it?
adymann@reddit
30 quid from amazon. Plus, once the cat or cats realise what happens to them when they try to desecrate my flower beds they remember and don't come back, mine hasn't been on for about a month now, just its presence in my garden is enough to put them off.
smalbluething@reddit
Just a cheap water spray will work.
MolassesInevitable53@reddit
Coffee grounds.
ndergrovnd@reddit (OP)
i'll give this one a try since i have some spare in my kitchen
VolcanicBear@reddit
Cats stopped pooping in my garden when they discovered we have dogs.
