My grandma made 3 big jar of pickles some time ago, we only have half of an jar left now. Homemade pickles are the best, they burn the throat and it feels good. She made other pickled vegetables too but i don't like them, i only drink their juice.

I make fermented veggies quite often. These look pickled thought. Fermented is better, has lot of good bacteria for gut. Not hard to make, you just throw some chopped cabbage and veggies into jars with salted water and wait for a week. Idk why people bother with picklening, it takes way more effort. But yeah love it, I try to eat it almost every day. Most of times I just buy sauerkraut from the store though.
