I be never seen raw used to described untested bread lmao
knusperbubi@reddit
In Germany, this kind of bread is sold as "Toastbrot" or "Toast", and eating it untoasted is so uncommon that if we would do so, we would explicitely refer to it's untoasted state. Personally, I wouldn't necessarily call it "raw", though, but I perfectly understand the intention behind it. Perhaps the exact term ("raw", "untoasted",....) is a regional thing...
creedsblog69@reddit
I loooove it lmao
MadamVoid@reddit
So do I. I love to get those bolillo bread because those taste best with sardines and pickled red onions 😮💨
joziboom789@reddit
I hate sardines but this could change my mind

holydogassfucker@reddit (OP)
Yes, but unotoasted
SousVideDiaper@reddit
So... bread. "Raw bread" would be dough.
TheSickestToastie@reddit
Honestly this might be the funniest thread I've seen today. OP is 100% sure this bread is raw. It's bread, but raw. Not dough. Untoasted bread.

Who says raw bread are you dumb
horrorhxe@reddit
Nah I get it, raw bread is not toasted (I have been repeatedly made fun of for saying this so I feel vindicated)
Sarah_withanH@reddit
So raw toast?
horrorhxe@reddit
I don’t like fresh soft bread (I know, I’m a freak) so instinctually to me raw bread = bread before toasting. I do like toast so yeah raw toast is more accurate indeed 😆
Xfuck1tX@reddit
HungryMudkips@reddit
you do realize bread is NOT toasted by default, right?

As someone who always toasts bread. This is raw. I'm weird and store my bread in the fridge.
Honestbabe2021@reddit
I read that you should leave bread out or freeze it bc refrigerated bread goes stale faster and produces mold faster (maybe not w the kind you buy, IDK). I used to think freezing it would ruin it but surprisingly it tastes best if u freeze right away vs letting it sit out for a bit and then freezing it.
dankhimself@reddit
Raw toast maybe. Not raw bread.
ArmchairCriticSF@reddit
Me, too. Lasts longer that way. I should really be putting it in the freezer, but I never have room.
bornslyasafox@reddit
Well maybe not in your bread orchard but they certainly do pop off in loaves in mine!
