Never understood why they never finished repainting the entire fleet. I'm pretty sure I've still seen one bird that had the gray tail with red Spirit logo.
Seeing this I find it quite remarkable that an ULCC carrier in the US still has (or well, had) on board WiFi on most of their fleet. On this side of the pond you’d get a hearty laugh out of the FAs at Ryanair, Wizz, EasyJet for even asking. Legs here are shorter on average but not really short enough to not be bored out of your mind.

Cause they were pretty low on cash, remember

Already in 2014? Id imagine they could have been done repainting within 2-3 years.

Damn, saw the old livery when we were taxiing from the hangars yesterday. At the time didn’t think Spirit was actually going under.

Didn’t know they still had A320s in the old livery
Fluffy-Proof-5175@reddit
I wonder what the tail number for that one is, since n635nk ( another old livery a320) last flight was to FLL.

I know they had a few “birthday cake” and at least one silver

Likely N631NK

MCO mechanic (not nk) here. I would usually see one at this airport, semi-often.
Never knew alot about spirit; I thought it was a new livery. 😅
