Ram Upgrade to 3200mhz

Hi, guys. I am planning to do an upgrade but I wasn't sure if my motherboard can take 3200mhz ram.
PC Specs:
Procie: Ryzen 5 4600g
GPU: 1660 Super 6GB
Motherboard: Asus A320M-K
PSU: Corsair 750w 80+ Bronze
Ram: Currently a 2x8 2666mhz
I want to ask if my board can handle 3200MHz RAM, since it says on the website that it can handle 3200MHz OC. I just want to make sure that it'll run. I am having a RAM bottleneck.
If I want to upgrade my board for better RAM, can anyone recommend a brand that'll work on my current board so I can upgrade my RAM asap and get a new motherboard in the future?

If your motherboard supports RAM overclocking, you could try doing a manual overclock to 3200 MHz. I achieved an overclock from 2400MHz to 3200MHz on nearly 10 year old Intel X99 RAM, so yours is likely to be able to achieve 3200MHz.
This guide helped me a lot:

Just curious, are you in the US and how much are spending on your new ram and are you aware Ram Prices are Insane right now?
A combo deal like this is a way better value if you are in the Us.

Yes it will work, the motherboard or brand has almost nothing to do with it.
4 companies make all the DDR4: * Samsung * Micron/SpecTek * Hynix - Hyundai Electronix * Nanya
It's very standardized and there's a handful of machines that made all the RAM. The brands slap their decorations and logos on whatever they get cheapest.
The actual memory controller is built into the CPU. You can see AMD's site: https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/processors/ryzen/ryzen-4000-series/amd-ryzen-5-4600g.html
Your CPU supports 3200.
The 4600G came out around 2020, A320 came out 2017, and by 2020 it was replaced with A520.
Once the motherboard is old, they stop updating the marketing.
For old 2017-2018 CPUs that supported 2666-2933, then 3000-3200 was an overclock.
Your CPU natively supports 3200, and they didn't update the details for a nearly 9 year old board.

Is the ram kit rated for 3200?
For example, in BIOS settings, can you enable XMP/DOCP for the ram to get full speed? A board BIOS update can also improve system compatibility.

Ram is not the problem in your system, it’s definitely the cpu and the gpu

With your current cpu/gpu, a bump in memory speed and a new board wont really do much, and you’d be better off saving for a new gpu or cpu.
As for a brand your motherboard supports: every motherboard has a qvl list on their support page, listing which ram sticks are validated to work and at which speeds they work.
