I'm a teacher, and the VAST majority of homeschooling is done by religious right-wing assholes teaching their kids to pray to the ghost of Reagan. There's actually a lot of dad fucking going on in those families, but it's way different than when we do it.

Homeschoolers are comprised of three broad cohorts: fundies, granola moms, and people sick of overreach and shitty results from their local public schools. There are some fuzzy borders to these groups but the fundies are the smallest. Don’t believe everything you hear from your fat blue haired union rep.
