After 7 years, its time to do some upgrades that are long overdue, and bring a few items into 2026.
I have been tackling repairs to the body, and fuel tank, including the rear door handle. stuff I havent been able to do without a welder.
this also allowed me to start the electrical, sadly, after years on the road, a nice clean setup slowly turned into a nightmare, different batteries only available in other countries, and never having my tools with me. now was a good chance to fix it all.
I was also sick of plugging in the tent and lights every night through the window, so I ran a 12pin plug through the roof, so everything will remain powered at all times. overall, some good choices.
Dash needed a clean up as well, and we fully stripped the car and pressure washed it inside as it was a nightmare of dust.
New rear storage and final electrical will come soon enough in Part 2, and part 3 will be bringing all the bushes back up to spec, and sorting out some underbody paint.
