Help me upgrade my PC please!

Here's my current setup :
- AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6GHz
- AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12Gb)
- 16Gb of RAM
- 1TB ssd
it's 2 years old and I'm thinking of upgrading it when I save up enough. I don't know a lot about PC hardware so any help would be appreciated
I use it mainly for gaming but usually indie titles and they all run fine. I live in Europe.
However I've been having issues with Marathon which is causing pretty low fps and when i check the temps my processor is fully working whereas the graphics card is chilling. Plus that game is known to have CPU bottleneck issues since launch. So maybe upgrading the processor seems like the first step but idk really.
Keep in mind I can't afford a lot so I want to go about this pretty incrementally.
Thanks in advance ! :)

Instead of temps, can you tell me what the usage % is of your GPU?

I just checked and posted the result in an edit on the OP

It seems to have been removed, let me know if you repost it.

Probably just update cpu to 5600X or better, and wait for Zen6

I'd go with 7700XT or 7900XTX. Otherwise you seem to be on a good path for your use. Someone else is in the same situation as you: https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDHelp/s/2lSbdV4Oiv

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out, some discussions in the post you mentioned are also interesting! I think the CPU issue is only with Marathon as they have optimisation errors for a few users so maybe I'll just wait till they fix it.
