Help me decide if This GPU is a good Fit

I will be playing Games like Apex Legends, Ark, other shooters and much more.
And I would like to start streaming in the future.
7 years ago my PC died on me now I am finally able to build my new one.
I have an i9 900k and I am wondering if the RTX 5070 is a good fit?
The graphics card is the only thing that is missing from my new PC.

Well I think in general the 9900k is still a great CPU though I do think a 5070 might be a much for that CPU in more demanding games. But for Esports, Ark, and some AAA games this combo is fine though I would personally pair it with something newer

The 9900K is an 8 year old CPU built on a mildly revised version of an 11 year old architecture. Great is a bit of a stretch. Per-core performance on modern chips is roughly 50% faster, and that makes a substantial difference when it comes to higher framerates.
Still usable for sure, but good idea for OP to keep tabs on GPU utilization % in the games they’re playing to determine whether they’re getting a noticeable bottleneck that would significantly benefit from a platform upgrade.

Thanks.
I didn't have to buy the CPU since I did physical work for it which sounded like a great money saver😅

I think the 9060XT or 5060ti would be enough for that CPU. 16GB. Of course you can future proof but I'm not sure it's worth it if you don't plan on changing everything else in the next 3-5 years.

Is the 5070 ti worth the (in my country at the moment) 380€ price difference

Nvidia is better for streaming than AMD, also better upscaling and much better framegen.
Considering the games u wish to play, dont think u ll use frame gen that much.
Educational-Put4072@reddit (OP)
800€ probably
Lil_Hater112@reddit
I bought 5070ti for like 1060$ in uk. Idk prices in ur country.
Happy with it

Ok thanks I will consider it its about the same in euros here (~1080€ it's discounted rn from ~1200€)
Would you say the price gap is worth it?
Educational-Put4072@reddit (OP)
The price difference to ti is 380€ at the moment

Also what monitor under 200€ preferably under 150€ would be good?

What country are you located in? Price varies by region

Germany

For 1080p you could get the Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM
For 1440p the AOC Q27G4XF or Gigabyte G27Q2

Thanks

My friend has TCL and it looks great for the price
Important_Sea_1136@reddit
I'd say pretty good fit, especially if playing on 1440p.
The cpu is pretty old, but still holds up pretty well in modern games especially if you do any overclocking. You might be slightly bottlenecked in some cpu bound scenarios.

Alright so overall it's fine
I don't know anything about over locking so that's probably not a problem the only thing I turned on is XMP

i9 is a waste of money for gaming. Go with a 7800X3D or 9800X3D for better performance and power efficiency.
Run the stream encode on your GPU, the quality will be decent and it won't impact your CPU or GPU performance because there is dedicated silicon for it.
RTX 5070 is a good fit for 1080p or 1440p gaming. If you play at 4K go up to the 5070 Ti or 5080.

he already have the i9 bruh can you properly read?
