Hey everyone, first time building a PC here and just want to here your thoughts on what I've picked out.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 8700F Processor
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B850 GAMING WiFi6 ATX AM5
Memory: Crucial Pro 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-6400 CL38
Storage: Silicon Power UD90 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD
Video Card: Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB
or
Sapphire Radeon RX 9060 XT OC PULSE 16GB GDDR6 Graphics Card, RDNA4, 2048 Stream
or
PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT REAPER 16GB GDDR6 Graphics Card, PCIe5, GPU
Case: Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (2025) 750W Fully Modular
Operating System: Windows 11 Home (USB)
Monitor: MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 27" 1440p 180Hz
I have very little knowledge so anything would be helpful. I've watched a few building videos, done the PCPicker, read some Tom Hardware articles.
I haven't bought anything yet because the RAM is so expensive and there are two other video cards that might be better and a little cheaper.
Thanks.

Please tell me you aren't buying a copy of windows from Microsoft. You can download it for free and activate it with a key bought from numerous different places for a fraction of the cost. Also don't buy that CPU. Take the advice others have already said. Enjoy your build!

😅 In hindsight it seems rather foolish, doesn't it? It's my first time for everything. Getting a return done now. Also, yes. I'm not getting that CPU, instead a 7700x or 9600x, depending on how much I can get for them.

Sorry if I came across as rude. You don't know what you don't know :) good choice on the CPU. The 7000 and 9000 series are very similar although I think one of those (7700x) is an 8 core whilst the 9600 is a 6 core. That being said the 9600 is the better gaming CPU. Either of them would be a good buy imo. Good luck with the build in any case :)

No you didn't sound rude at all! More like a plea for me to not waste my money.

Well hopefully you get that refund and I helped a little bit. :)

The case includes only one fan. So I'd put a pack of p14s/p12s in the cart so you can have some airflow in the case.

The UD90 uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. Get a better drive with TLC flash like the FanXiang S880 or Biwin Black Opal NV7400.

Avoid 8000 series CPUs, 7000 or 9000 is what you should get.

I'd go a 7500X3D over a 8700F, unless you really want the mutlithread performance. Otherwise just get whatever GPU is cheapest.

All good just change the CPU - 7700, 9600x, 9700x are much better
