Crazy how much the wing flexes during take off roll and rotation. We are at the mercy of rivets, screws and adhesives.

Have been on a 380 twice now. Have to agree with a friend who said, they don't fly so much as float through the air... Last time the capt turned on the seat belt sign, said we were heading into some bumpy air. What followed was about a minute of very gentle bobbing up and down. Seat belt sign off, turbulence over!
